Job summary

Qualifications

• BSN required or ADN with commitment to obtain BSN within three years of employment.
• RN licensure in the state of Illinois (or applicable state) at start.
• BLS certification; ACLS, PALS/ENPC & TNCC within one year for ER/ED roles.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for acutely ill patients.
• Coordinate care with patient, family, physicians and healthcare team.
• Document care and outcomes; participate in governance and unit projects.
• Utilize best available evidence to guide nursing practice.
