Northwestern Medicine is seeking a registered Staff Nurse Inpatient who provides skilled nursing care to acutely ill patients in the inpatient setting. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care using the nursing process and evidence-based practice.

The role requires BSN, active RN license in Illinois, BLS, and ACLS/PALS as applicable. Travel within the hospital area and collaboration with physicians and care teams are essential.

Qualifications

• BSN degree required
• ADN acceptable with commitment to obtain BSN within three years of employment

Responsibilities

• Collects data, develops and assesses an individualized care plan.
• Directs care and utilizes supports to deliver nursing services.
• Collaborates with patient, family, physicians and staff to coordinate care.
• Documents responses to interventions and adjusts plans accordingly.
• Participates in governance, committees, and unit projects.
