Mary Washington Healthcare Incorporated is seeking a Laboratory Hospital Phlebotomist to perform specimen collection, processing, and data entry in a patient-focused environment.

You will train new associates, maintain supplies, and ensure accurate labeling and timely communication with physicians and nursing staff. The role requires attention to safety, confidentiality, and teamwork in a fast-paced lab.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• One year phlebotomy experience or successful completion of an accredited, structured phlebotomy training program.
• ASCP phlebotomy certification desired.
• AHA BLS Provider CPR required at hire.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and visitors professionally.
• Perform venipuncture and dermal puncture collecting specimens.
• Label samples accurately and ensure proper specimen handling.
• Enter patient and specimen data in the lab system.
• Answer calls and direct inquiries to appropriate departments.
