Job summary

Allina Health in Minnesota seeks a Pharmacy Technician to ensure patient safety by accurately preparing and dispensing medications, managing inventory, and processing prescriptions. You will support pharmacists to focus on patient care while delivering excellent customer service and medication guidance.

The role requires MN Board registration, with opportunities to work across inpatient and outpatient settings, including sterile compounding and IV preparation, under supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of pharmacy experience (inpatient or outpatient/retail) or current national pharmacy technician certification (PTCB or NHA).
• Registered Pharmacy Technician with MN Board of Pharmacy is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile parenteral products and chemotherapy using barcode technology.
• Assist with automated dispensing cabinets and inventory management.
• Prepare medications, labels, and IV solutions under pharmacist supervision.
• Provide medication guidance and customer service to patients.
• Support pharmacy buyers and quality assurance activities.
