Job summary

Allina Health Home Infusion is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to ensure safe preparation and dispensing of medications for home infusion patients. You will support pharmacists, manage inventory, and provide excellent patient service to improve adherence and outcomes.

The role features casual (0.0 FTE) hours with day/evening shifts and on-call requirements, including weekend coverage. Training and qualifications include MN-registered, CPTB certification; 18+ years and 0–2 years experience

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with education/experience to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description.
• 0 to 2 years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• ASHP accredited technician training program preferred.
• 0 to 2 years healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile and non-sterile medications and IV solutions under pharmacist supervision.
• Maintain inventory and assist with billing documentation as directed.
• Support home infusion workflow to ensure safe, timely medication administration.
• Assist with scheduling and coordination for patient home visits and orders.
