Job summary

Altru Health System is seeking an Inpatient Pharmacy Technician to coordinate and replenish narcotic and non-narcotic medications across the health system, ensuring safe, timely patient access. The role includes IV prep, dispensing, and inventory control in storage areas, with strict records compliance.

Responsibilities cover automated systems, stock integrity, and adherence to policy, plus performing sterile/non-sterile prep and Tech-Check-Tech per state rules.

Qualifications

ND Board of Pharmacy registration prior to start.
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required.
Strong English reading, writing and speaking skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinate automated dispensing systems and cart fill.
Inventory management for dispensing systems and controls.
Address system issues for pharmacy and nursing staff.
Maintain adherence to controlled substance security policy.
Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounds.
Perform Tech-Check-Tech per North Dakota rules.
Maintain records and documentation per regulations.
