Job summary

Intermountain Health’s St. Mary’s Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado seeks an Inpatient Pharmacy Technician to support daily operations in a high‑tech inpatient setting.

You will work with pharmacists and staff to prepare prescriptions, coordinate medication access, and assist with workflow development while ensuring accuracy and patient safety. New graduates are welcome to apply and participate in ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent is required.
• Current pharmacy technician certification and/or license applicable to state of practice.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing pharmacy practice and drug distribution.
• Lapse or failure to meet requirements may result in discipline or termination.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in collecting patient information and maintaining records.
• Prepare medication orders for dispensing and perform compoundings as required by site policy.
• Ensure accuracy checks and supervision by pharmacists.
• Maintain medication supplies and monitor inventories to ensure cost effectiveness and 340B/charging management.
• Communicate with caregivers and participate in quality and patient safety initiatives.
