Job summary

Intermountain Health's St. Mary’s Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado, is hiring an Inpatient Pharmacy Technician. You will support daily operations, prepare prescriptions, coordinate medication access, and work closely with pharmacists and other technicians.

Our inpatient pharmacy uses advanced tech like Omnicell, automated inventory, and DoseEdge workflows to ensure safe patient care. Training provided; new grads welcome; 40-hour weeks with day/evening shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Current pharmacy technician certification/licensure for the state.
• Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in collecting patient information and maintaining records.
• Prepare medication orders and compound medications per policy.
• Perform accuracy checks and supervise under pharmacist guidance.
• Maintain inventory, including controlled substances, and 340B/charges.
• Communicate with caregivers and participate in safety initiatives.
