Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to prepare, package, document and label drug products under the direct supervision of the Pharmacist at the University of California, Irvine. You will perform data entry and filing related to drug purchasing and inventory control, and participate in Pharmacy Department Performance Improvement projects.

Strong English communication, aseptic technique skills, and at least one year of full-time Pharmacy Technician experience are required; California

Qualifications

• Must have 1+ year full-time relevant experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• California Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration License or Pharmacy Intern Registration Certificate.
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload and aseptic techniques.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, document, and label drug products under the direct technical supervision of the Pharmacist.
• Perform data entry and filing associated with drug purchasing and inventory control procedures.
• Participate in Pharmacy Department Performance Improvement projects/programs and collect data for workload measurements as needed.
