Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with state license.
• 2–5 years of hospital/central pharmacy experience.
• Sterile compounding experience.

Responsibilities

• Restocks floor stock and automated dispensing machines.
• Enters charges/credits against patient profile to ensure an accurate bill.
• Monitors medication order reports to assign medication to automated dispensing machines.
• Delivers medications in compliance with DEA, DPH and State Board regulations.
• Prepares IV medications and maintains QA and sterile areas per USP standards.
• Checks for expired/damaged medications and dispose per regulations.
• Trains new staff in Central Pharmacy Operations and sterile compounding.
