Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Frisco, TX is seeking a Pharmacy Technician 1 to support pharmacy services under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You will manage inventory, assist with dispensing and ensure accurate labeling and billing.

Essential duties include answering calls, helping patients and staff, and maintaining pharmacy records and equipment. TX Board licensure as PHT or intern is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Less than 1 year of experience preferred.
• TX Board of Pharmacy licensure: Pharmacy Tech (PHT) or intern license.

Responsibilities

• Stock, prepare, label, dispense and deliver medications.
• Assist patients and staff with questions under pharmacist supervision.
• Answer calls and direct to the right person.
• Manage inventory and drug purchasing.
• Enter medication orders and ensure correct billing.
• Resolve discrepancies and run reports from the ADM.
• Maintain equipment and clean work area.
