Xanitos, Inc. is hiring Inpatient Patient Sitters at PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center in Springfield, OR. The role supports patient observation under RN supervision, with full-time and part-time options and a $20.50 per hour rate, plus shift differential.

Rotational weekends and holidays are required, and adherence to hospital policies is essential. The job emphasizes safety, confidentiality, and compassionate care, with mandatory post-offer screenings, COVID-19 vaccination, and CPR/BLS

Qualifications

• Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required.
• COVID-19 vaccination required as condition of employment.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand written English communications related to patient care.
• CPR AED or BLS certification required; training provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor assigned patients visually and audibly at all times.
• Stay at the bedside unless relieved by staff.
• Redirect patients from at-risk behaviors and report safety concerns.
• Complete observation reports at designated times.
• Collaborate with nurses and other staff to ensure patient safety.
• Assist with patient mobility and daily needs under supervision.
