Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient observation and input in planning care through communication with the RN and other patient care team members.
• Maintains competency and provides a safe environment for patients requiring close supervision.
• Assists with transfers, transportation, and activities as directed by the RN.
• Remains within arm's length of the patient and notifies the nurse for any concerns.
• Supports patient care equipment handling and adherence to safety guidelines.
• Performs duties under direct supervision of the RN during shifts.
