Endeavor Health in Chicago is seeking a Patient Care Technician – Nursing Assistant for 4S Ortho/Post Surgical Tele. This full-time role supports nursing staff on the 7a-7:30p shift, with every other weekend and rotating holidays. You will assist with patient care, vitals, hygiene, mobility, and documentation in the EMR, following safety protocols and PPE.

CNA certification and CPR required. The position offers hourly pay and a robust benefits package, reflecting a commitment to quality patient

Qualifications

• CNA certification or completion of accredited nursing assistant training.
• CPR certification from American Heart Association required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and team.
• Respect for patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Organized, self-directed and reliable in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on assigned unit under supervision of a Clinical Nurse Manager.
• Communicate with patients, families, and health care team respectfully.
• Follow standard precautions and PPE requirements for all patients.
• Assist with patient hygiene and meeting elimination needs as required.
• Prepare rooms with ECG leads and equipment for new admissions, assist RN.
• Document vital signs and care in the EMR accurately and timely.
