Job summary

Endeavor Health’s Swedish Hospital in Chicago is seeking a Patient Care Technician - Nursing Assistant for 4E Med/Surg/Tele. This full-time night shift involves caring for patients, documenting vital signs, assisting with hygiene, and supporting the nursing team in a fast-paced inpatient setting.

The role requires CNA certification or completion of an accredited program, CPR certification, and a high school diploma. Nights, weekends, and rotating holidays are included.

Qualifications

• CNA certification or successful completion of accredited nursing assistant training or equivalent.
• American Heart Association CPR certification is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent and ability to interact with others.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients on assigned unit under supervision.
• Communicate with patients, families, and health care team respectfully.
• Follow standard precautions and PPE protocols for all patients.
