Job summary

Omega Healthcare seeks three Facility IP Coders focused on oncology coding for a single cancer facility. Full-time, 40 hours weekly, 6am–6pm EST, with a target productivity of 1.25 CPH and 95% accuracy. CCS certification and experience with Athena, Altera Sunrise, or Mosaic are required.

Qualifications

• Experience coding complex cancer cases.
• Must understand NCI Guidelines and SEER training.
• CCS certification required.
• Experience with Athena required.
• Ability to work EST hours Mon-Fri.

Responsibilities

• Code IP facility for hospital reimbursement.
• Maintain accuracy at 95% and productivity at 1.25 CPH.
• Ensure timely coding and proper documentation for oncology cases.

Omega Healthcare is looking to bring on 3 Facility IP Coders who have a deep passion for Oncology Coding. You will be dedicated to coding for 1 Comprehensive Cancer Facility. Please see the below details & comments.

Details

• Full Time Only 40hrs per w
• Hours M-F between 6am-6pm EST ( discussed further during interview)
• Productivity: 1.25CPH
• Accuracy 95%

• Systems: Experience with Athena Required ( other systems are Altera Sunrise, Mosaic)
• Pay: $42hr (open to discussion based on experience)
• Need experience coding complex medical and surgical charges for cancer cases. Must have a thorough understanding of NCI Guidelines, SEERS training, and Vizient mortality mode
• Laptop Provided ( unless you wish to use your own equipment)
• IP Facility Coding for Hospital Reimbursement
