Job summary

Omega Healthcare is seeking 3 Facility IP Coders dedicated to oncology coding for a single comprehensive cancer facility. You will code inpatient hospital charges in a high-precision environment.

Full-time, 40 hours/week, M-F between 6am-6pm EST. Target productivity of 1.25 CPH and accuracy of 95% with CCS certification, using Athena, Altera Sunrise and Mosaic. Pay is $42/hr; laptop provided or use your own equipment; benefits include health, vision, dental, PTO and 401K with matching.

Qualifications

• Experience coding complex medical and surgical cancer charges.
• Thorough understanding of NCI Guidelines.
• SEERS training desirable.
• Vizient mortality mode knowledge.
• Proficient in inpatient hospital reimbursement coding.

Responsibilities

• IP Facility Coding for Hospital Reimbursement.
• Code oncology inpatient cases for a single cancer facility.

• Need experience coding complex medical and surgical charges for cancer cases. Must have a thorough understanding of NCI Guidelines, SEERS training, and Vizient mortality mode
