Job summary

Omega Healthcare is hiring three Facility IP Coders to focus exclusively on oncology coding for a single comprehensive cancer facility. Full-time, 40 hours weekly, M-F, EST hours, with a target of 1.25 coding hours per chart and 95% accuracy.

Requires CCS certification and experience with Athena, Altera Sunrise, or Mosaic. Compensation is discussed at interview and includes benefits such as health, vision, dental coverage, PTO, 401K with matching, CE opportunities, and life insurance.

Qualifications

• Experience coding complex medical and surgical cancer cases.
• Thorough understanding of NCI Guidelines, SEERs training and Vizient mortality mode.
• Must maintain high accuracy and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Facility IP Coding for hospital reimbursement.
• Code for one comprehensive cancer facility on a daily basis.
• Ensure accuracy target of 95% and productivity target of 1.25 CPH.

Omega Healthcare is looking to bring on 3 Facility IP Coders who have a deep passion for Oncology Coding. You will be dedicated to coding for 1 Comprehensive Cancer Facility. Details

• Full Time Only 40hrs per w
• Hours M-F between 6am-6pm EST ( discussed further during interview)
• Productivity: 1.25CPH
• Accuracy 95%

• Systems: Experience with Athena Required ( other systems are Altera Sunrise, Mosaic)
• Pay: $42hr (open to discussion based on experience)
• Need experience coding complex medical and surgical charges for cancer cases. Must have a thorough understanding of NCI Guidelines, SEERS training, and Vizient mortality mode
• Laptop Provided ( unless you wish to use your own equipment)
• IP Facility Coding for Hospital Reimbursement
