Job summary

KingRecruitingServices seeks a Laborist in Munster, IN to provide inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care, including deliveries and C-sections, with a highly predictable 144-hour month schedule. The role leverages EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation to optimize patient workflows.

The physician will lead obstetric emergencies, coordinate with MFM, pediatrics, and nursing staff, and must hold or be eligible for Indiana medical licensure.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in OB/GYN with plan for certification.
• Eligible for Indiana medical license and CSR/DEA registration.
• Experience with EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools.
• Excellent communication and EMR proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient obstetric and gynecological care, including labor, deliveries, and C-section procedures.
• Work a 144-hour month schedule (1,728 hours per year).
• Manage phone availability aligned with hospitalist shift rotations.
• Utilize EPIC EMR with AI features to streamline documentation and patient workflows.
• Serve as the in-house clinical leader for obstetric emergencies and admissions.
• Collaborate with maternal-fetal medicine, pediatrics, and APN staff.
