Job summary
The Recruiting Hive is seeking a Laborist in Munster, IN to provide inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care within a premier hospital. The role offers a fixed schedule of 144 hours per month (1,728 hours annually) with relocation support and comprehensive benefits.
Work with an integrated EPIC EMR system enhanced by AI features, collaborate with maternal-fetal medicine and pediatric teams, and lead obstetric emergencies while supporting physician well-being and work-life balance.
Qualifications
- Board-certified or board-eligible in obstetrics and gynecology.
- US medical school graduate (MD/DO) or international equivalent.
- Indiana medical license or eligibility; CSR/DEA registration.
- Experience with EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools.
- Strong communication skills and EMR proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care including labor, deliveries, and C-sections.
- Maintain a highly predictable schedule (144 hours per month / 1,728 hours per year).
- Manage phone availability aligned with hospitalist shifts.
- Utilize EPIC EMR with AI features for documentation and workflows.
- Lead obstetric emergencies and triage evaluations with the care team.
- Collaborate with maternal-fetal medicine specialists and other staff.
