Job summary
Corewell Health is seeking an RN Float Pool Flex to support inpatient OB at the Lakeland Hospitals across St. Joseph and Niles campuses. This full-time position offers night or day shifts with a 36-hour work week.
Assignments are determined by staffing needs to ensure high-quality patient care throughout the two campuses. The RN must hold an active Michigan RN license, complete BLS within 90 days, and obtain NRP and C-EFM certifications within specified time frames.
Qualifications
- Associates in Nursing; must have RN license in Michigan.
- Bachelor's in Nursing required within 5 years.
- Graduates from a non-accredited school of nursing must have at least one year of acute care experience or at least two years in a licensed health care role and must have passed the NCLEX licensure examination.
- MI Registered Nurse (RN)
- AHA/ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days
- NRP - AHA within 90 days
- C-EFM within 1.5 years
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process.
- Collaborate with Nurse Leader and incorporate patient/family input in planning and education.
- Educate patients and families; document education in health records.
- Discharge planning and ensuring continuity of care.
