Job summary

Qualifications

• Active license in the State of Ohio
• Maintain a current AHA BLS card
• Maintain a current AHA PALS care card
• BSN preferred attributes (education)

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care to patients via the Nursing Process, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation
• Directs paraprofessional staff and communicates with the health care team
• Administers medications and ensures safe practices per policy
• Maintains patient confidentiality and high-quality documentation
• On-call status may be required and may involve reassignment to other units as needed
