Qualifications

• Two years of experience directly related to facility inpatient coding in ICD-10-CM/PCS.
• Registered Health Information Administrator; RHIA, RHIT or CCS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assigns Diagnosis Related Groups supported by medical record documentation for Inpatient records.
• Ensures that coded records align with productivity standards and quality expectations.
• Assigns accurate/complete ICD-10-CM/PCS codes and Present on Admission status indicators.
