Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse (Inpatient Services) to join the Clinical Advancement Program. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned patient group, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements where employed.

Responsibilities

• Performs all essential functions under the direction of the Supervisor and with guidance from Educator, Preceptor or another RN.
• Collects and analyzes patient data pre–during–post treatment and documents in the medical record.
• Provides education to patients and family.
• Directs and provides safe, effective patient care for assigned patients.
• Initiates and coordinates communication with dialysis providers and facility personnel for continuity of care.
• Performs administration and monitoring of prescribed treatments and medications.
