Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Tennessee is seeking an RN CAP 2 for inpatient dialysis, eligible via CAP2 or CAP1 progression, responsible for assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned patient group.

Collaborate with RNs, LVNs/LPNs and Patient Care Technicians; provide education and participate in quality improvement activities; require state licensure, CPR/BLS, and willingness to travel and on-call as needed.

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in the applicable state.
• Entry level CAP2; 2+ years nephrology nursing experience preferred.
• Ability to supervise and support other staff members.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned patient group.
• Document assessments, plans, interventions and evaluations in the medical record.
• Collaborate with RNs, LVNs/LPNs and Patient Care Technicians as needed.
