Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Kingston Springs, TN seeks an inpatient RN CAP 2 to join our Clinical Advancement Program. This role provides and coordinates clinically competent care for an assigned group of patients, with responsibilities that may include delegation to PCTs and collaboration with the dialysis team.

The RN CAP 2 requires state licensure and CPR/BLS, with entry level or CAP progression, and a strong focus on patient education, safety, and quality improvement as part of the kidney care

Qualifications

• RN CAP 2 role requires state licensure and CPR/BLS certification.
• 2+ years nephrology nursing experience in the last 2 years recommended.
• Acute dialysis experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs essential nursing functions under supervision and guidance of Nurse in Charge or Educator.
• Collects and analyzes patient data pre-, during-, post-treatment and documents in the medical record.
• Provides patient/family education and coordinates care with the health care team.

Education

Current appropriate state licensure

Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification

Must meet the practice requirements in all states employed
