Job summary

Akron Children’s is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician I for the Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit. This role supports care for children and adolescents aged 5-17 admitted to the unit or ED, working part-time (24 hours/week) with a 3rd shift (7pm–7:30am) and two 12-hour shifts.

The position requires collaboration with RNs and multidisciplinary teams to execute treatment plans and ensure patient safety. Responsibilities include direct patient care under supervision, assisting with activities

Qualifications

• Team-based care experience.
• Familiarity with electronic documentation systems.
• Experience in healthcare settings is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Collect data to support assessment and care planning for pediatric patients.
• Provide direct care under RN supervision and assist with clinical interventions.
