Allegheny Health Network in the United States is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care under RN supervision on a stable unit. You will perform daily nursing tasks and participate in bedside rounding to promote safety and comfort.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, with 2 weeks of training for applicants with limited experience. CPR certification is preferred along with HIPAA compliance and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsabilités

• Provides, obtains or performs and documents direct patient care and activities such as ADLs, vitals, ambulation, specimen collection, intake/output, meals, and basic treatments.
• Participates in quality and patient satisfaction initiatives and maintains a clean, safe environment.
• Documents vitals, I&O, and treatments; reports changes to nursing staff.
• Assists with admissions, discharges, and transfers and supports unit coordination.
