Job summary

The role focuses on direct patient contact, crisis intervention, and documentation of observations, with opportunities for ongoing professional development and teamwork across disciplines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years of experience in substance abuse and mental health settings.
• Experience with crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
• Experience with electronic health records and documentation.
• Strong communication and confidentiality in sensitive care settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of client behavior and document observations.
• Implement individualized care plans and therapeutic activities.
• Monitor and manage client behavior according to treatment plans.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation when needed.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment with the nursing staff.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve care outcomes.
• Assist in developing and implementing group activities.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory policies and procedures.
• Communicate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to support progress.
