LifeStream Behavioral Center in Leesburg, FL is seeking a Behavioral Tech II to provide direct care and support during Shift 3, assist in implementing treatment plans, monitor client behavior, and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, crisis intervention when needed, helping clients with daily living skills, and keeping accurate documentation while upholding confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or higher in psychology, social work, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a behavioral health setting.
• Experience with mental health disorders or substance abuse is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans and provide direct client care.
• Monitor, document client behavior, progress, and incidents per policies.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and follow safety protocols.
• Facilitate group activities and sessions as directed by clinical staff.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support treatment goals.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation when needed.
• Assist clients with daily living activities and promote independence.
• Communicate with clients, families, and stakeholders to support treatment.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
