Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related behavioral health fields.
• 1 year of experience in behavioral health or 3 years in psychiatric clinical settings.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Preferred: patient care experience in a hospital or inpatient mental health facility.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care and supportive services to patients with mental health disorders and chemically dependent patients to ensure safety and wellbeing.
• Carries out activities that support the therapeutic milieu and meet patient needs for comfort and safety.
• May perform duties of an Emergency Department Technician.
