Qualifications

• Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or other behavioral health related fields.
• One year of experience in the behavioral health field setting, OR three years of experience in psychiatric settings in a clinical/direct patient care job.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care and supportive services to patients with mental health disorders and chemically dependent patients.
• Supports maintenance of the therapeutic milieu and meets patients' needs for comfort and safety.
• May perform duties and responsibilities of an Emergency Department Technician.
