Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a Security Systems Engineering Scientist at the Pickle Research Campus to analyze, design, integrate, and test advanced security systems for the Advanced Technology Laboratory (ATL). You will contribute through the full lifecycle from requirements to sustainment, working with multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities include system-level analysis, development of novel solutions, and documenting designs and tests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, systems engineering or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Dynamic skill set, willing to learn new technologies, highly organized.

Responsibilities

• System and mission analysis to inform design and integration.
• Design, build, test, and integrate systems and system-of-systems.
• Create and maintain documentation for requirements, design, CM and testing.
• Support installation and testing of equipment in field locations.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on projects.
