Job summary

STV Incorporated in Boston, MA is seeking a Project Architect/Architectural Designer to contribute to innovative projects across transportation, infrastructure, justice, health, and science sectors.

You will lead design coordination, develop construction documents, and ensure compliance with codes while collaborating with engineering teams. Strong Revit and AutoCAD skills are required, with licensure preferred and MA licensure potential.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture (M.Arch preferred).
• Minimum 3–8 years of project experience in relevant sectors.
• Licensed Architect preferred (MA or ability to obtain licensure).
• Proficiency in Revit BIM modeling, AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of IBC, NFPA, and Massachusetts codes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architectural and engineering teams to develop design solutions and prepare construction documents.
• Support projects through all phases from concept through construction administration.
• Prepare and oversee architectural plans that integrate engineering disciplines, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project goals.
• Perform technical design analysis including systems, layouts, and detailing.
• Coordinate across disciplines to meet project schedules and deliverables.
• Conduct site visits, prepare field reports and assist with inspections if required.
