Job summary
STV, Inc. is seeking an Architectural Designer for our Buildings division. The role emphasizes design, production, and delivery, with opportunities to work with architectural and engineering disciplines on new construction and renovations.
The ideal candidate has a Professional Degree in Architecture and 5+ years of relevant experience, proficiency with BIM 360 / Revit and AutoCAD plus Enscape, Rhino 3D, Grasshopper, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite. Licensure progress is desirable.
Qualifications
- Professional Degree in Architecture with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency with BIM 360 / Revit and Microsoft Office Suite required.
- AutoCAD, Enscape, Rhino 3D, Grasshopper, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
- Excellent design capabilities and strong verbal/visual communication; constructible details.
- Progress towards Architectural licensure is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Prepare architectural drawings for new construction and renovations.
- Develop design details, plans and specifications.
- Coordinate with project team and specifications writer.
- Conduct site and construction inspections for information gathering.
- Plan and supervise lower-level architects on projects.
