Job summary

STV Architects is seeking a Senior Architectural Designer with over 10 years of experience for our Building Group, based out of our Douglassville or Philadelphia PA offices. The candidate will collaborate with architectural and engineering disciplines to develop design through construction documentation.

Ideal candidates will have strong BIM/Revit skills, proficiency in MS Office, and a proven ability to generate constructible technical details. US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent technical design capabilities and strong verbal and visual communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Architectural Design work from concept design through construction documentation for projects requiring interface and collaboration with senior architectural staff and engineering disciplines.
• Prepare architectural drawings, utilizes a strong knowledge of building technology; and/or supervises their execution for all phases of a project.
• Prepare and manage cover sheets, drawing lists, and general sheets for a project.
• Prepare code data drawings with direction from the Lead Architect.
• Prepare project drawing package including plan, sections, elevations and schedules.
• Ensure conformance with STV established architectural practices, and technical adequacy of design and construction.

Senior Architectural Designer at STV Architects

STV, Inc. currently is seeking an Architectural Designer with 10 + years of experience , for our Building Group based out of our Douglassville or Philadelphia PA offices STV, Inc. specializes in the planning, organization, design and development of architectural buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have experience working with an architectural/engineering team in preparing documents for both new construction and renovations and preparing documents for building type projects in the Science & Technology, Healthcare, Federal, and Industrial sectors. Ability to prepare architectural drawings utilizing a strong knowledge of building technology for all phases of a project.

The ideal candidate will:

• Strong Proficiency with BIM / Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite are required.AutoCadd, Photoshop, Sketchup, Enscape and Vray rendering skills are a plus.
• Excellent technical design capabilities and strong verbal and visual communication skills, along with a strong capacity for generating technical details that are coordinated and constructible.
• Must be a US Citizen.
