Job summary

Digital Pioneers Academy (DPA) seeks a Math/STEM Teacher to deliver rigorous instruction, analyze scholar work, and drive growth for 6th–8th grade scholars in a collaborative, semi-self-contained model. Partnered with humanities, you will co-plan, problem-solve, and provide holistic support for a shared cohort.

You will foster a culture of high expectations, equity, and excellence, mentoring scholars, and contributing to curriculum development and school-wide initiatives within a dynamic urban

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of urban teaching experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver rigorous, inquiry-based instruction rooted in logic and real-world relevance.
• Drive measurable academic gains by analyzing scholar work and data, then applying high-impact strategies.
• Build strong, authentic relationships with scholars and families to foster investment in culture and achievement.
• Design and implement aligned curriculum and assessments that push scholars toward mastery.
• Continuously refine practice using data to close learning gaps.
• Collaborate with STEM partner teacher to create consistent systems and supports for the cohort.
• Contribute to a high-performing team through curriculum development and grade-level planning.
• Serve as an advisor, mentoring a small group of scholars and supporting growth.
