Job summary

Digital Pioneers Academy (DPA) seeks a Middle School Math/STEM Teacher who will design rigorous, standards-aligned curricula and deliver engaging, real-world STEM experiences to inspire mastery and curiosity.

In our semi-self-contained cohort model, you will collaborate with a Humanities teacher to plan instruction, analyze data, and provide targeted supports while building strong relationships with families and scholars. Eligible candidates may receive a sign-on bonus of up to $8,000.

Qualifications

• Proven track-record of high achievement in the classroom.
• Experience teaching in urban public or charter schools is preferred.
• Self-motivation and collaborative spirit are essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills and high moral character are required.
• Bachelor's degree with strong academic record; Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops a rigorous, standards-aligned Math/STEM curriculum.
• Creates engaging, real-world STEM experiences to drive mastery.
• Designs assessments to measure progress and informs instruction.
• Collaborates with Humanities teacher to plan and support cohorts.
• Builds strong relationships with families and scholars.
• Advises a small group of scholars and supports school-wide initiatives.
