Job summary

Digital Pioneers Academy (DPA) seeks a 6th-8th Grade Math Teacher who is a culture-builder and champion of scholar success. You will deliver rigorous, inquiry-based instruction and collaborate with a humanities teacher to support a shared cohort.

You will work to drive academic gains, build relationships with scholars and families, and design aligned curricula and assessments that push toward mastery, while refining practice with data to close gaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with a strong record of achievement.
• Master's degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in urban public or charter schools.
• Strong judgment, integrity, and commitment to DPA's mission.

Position Summary

At Digital Pioneers Academy (DPA), our 6th-8th Grade Math Teachers are more than instructors—they are culture-builders, innovators, and champions of scholar success.

As a Math/STEM Teacher, you will bring this belief to life by delivering rigorous, inquiry-driven instruction that builds scholars' ability to think critically, communicate effectively, and engage deeply with the world around them.

Through a semi-self-contained structure, you will partner closely with a humanities teacher to co-plan, problem-solve, and provide personalized, holistic support for your shared cohort- ensuring every scholar is seen, supported, and challenged across content areas.

Our middle school teachers are results-driven and relentlessly focused on improving outcomes for scholars-academically and beyond. You will:

• Collaborate deeply with your STEM partner teacher to create consistent systems, structures, and supports for your cohort
• Contribute to a high-performing team through curriculum development, grade-level planning, and school-wide initiatives
• Serve as an advisor, mentoring a small group of scholars and supporting their academic and personal growth
