Job summary

Fairstead ESC LLC in Annapolis, Maryland, invites applications for a Community Manager to lead day-to-day on-site operations at a Fairstead property. You will oversee leasing compliance, tenant relations, and maintenance, ensuring the property meets all regulatory standards and performance targets.

The role requires leadership in a HUD/Fair Housing environment, with experience in property management systems such as Yardi or RealPage.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management experience including supervising a team.
• COS or CPO certification required or preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with EIV, Yardi and RealPage is preferred.
• Experience in Affordable Housing is required or preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to leasing laws including HUD, Fair Housing, ADA and FCRA.
• Maintain compliance with HUD 4350.3 Handbook.
• Coordinate with Compliance and Regional Managers on regulatory responses.
• Manage on-site operations and tenant relations.
• Oversee inspections, recertifications, and LIHTC reviews.
• Direct rent collection, application processing, and delinquencies.
• Monitor budgets and attend monthly financial meetings.
• Coordinate vendor bids and building repairs.
