Job summary

Fairstead, a national affordable housing company, seeks a Community Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage tenant relations at a property. You will coordinate maintenance, budgeting, and vendor bidding while leading a on-site team to protect residents and ensure high performance.

The role requires 3+ years of management experience, relevant certifications, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of management experience overseeing a team.
• Experience with affordable housing programs and compliance is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office and related property management software helps.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day property operations and compliance with HUD, ADA, and Fair Housing.
• Coordinate with Compliance Department on regulatory responses and inspections.
• Lead maintenance coordination, budgeting, and vendor bids.
• Manage tenant relations, applications, and rent collections.
