Job summary

Fairstead, a purpose-driven real estate firm focused on affordable housing, seeks a Community Manager to lead day-to-day operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive property performance at one of our properties. The role emphasizes adherence to HUD, Fair Housing, ADA, and LIHTC requirements, with close collaboration across Compliance, construction, and regional teams.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of management experience supervising a team.
• EIV experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Ensure leasing compliance with HUD, Fair Housing, ADA, and FCRA.
• Maintain HUD 4350.3 Handbook knowledge and apply requirements.
• Coordinate responses with Compliance Department and regional managers.
• Oversee on-site maintenance, inspections, and vendor coordination.
• Attend financial meetings and monitor property budgets.
• Report on building condition and capital needs.
