Job summary

Fairstead, a purpose-driven real estate firm, seeks a strong Community Manager to oversee day-to-day on-site operations, compliance activities, and overall property performance.

You will ensure HUD, Fair Housing, ADA compliance; coordinate with Compliance and Regional Managers; manage rents, vacancies, inspections; supervise maintenance; coordinate vendor bids; attend budget meetings; and report on building needs to drive value for residents and communities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management experience including supervising a team.
• COS or CPO certification required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• EIV experience required.
• Yardi and RealPage experience preferred.
• TCS certification for tax credit properties desirable.
• Experience in Affordable Housing required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to leasing laws including HUD, Fair Housing, ADA, and FCRA.
• Maintain HUD 4350.3 Handbook knowledge and compliance.
• Coordinate with Compliance Department for regulatory responses.
• Manage on-site operations and tenant relations.
• Oversee maintenance and inspections, and coordinate vendor bids.
• Prepare reports and monitor budgets; attend monthly financial meetings.
