Job summary

Western Alliance Bank in San Francisco seeks a Market Director, Innovation Banking to lead a senior team and execute the division's strategic plan for growth and retention.

You will guide Commercial Bankers, Business Development Officers, and Portfolio Management staff to expand market share, deepen customer relationships, and drive credit structuring discussions and risk management across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of related experience or similar field.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Advanced to expert knowledge of general banking operations.
• Advanced to expert knowledge of regulatory and legal compliance obligations.
• Advanced knowledge of commercial credit and loan structuring.
• Advanced communication skills.
• May require up to 50% travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Commercial Bankers, Business Development Officers, and Portfolio Management staff.
• Expand market share, grow the portfolio, and deepen customer relationships.
• Support credit structuring discussions and portfolio health management.
• Collaborate with Credit Administration, Risk Management, Loan Administration and other departments.
• Hire, coach, and develop the team.
