Latham & Watkins is seeking an Innovation Attorney – Client Team Enablement to advance client-specific AI and legal technology solutions. Located in New York, Washington, D.C., or Los Angeles, with a hybrid/in-office schedule. Role collaborates with partners, clients, and technology teams to deliver effective AI-enabled legal services.

Requirements include a J.D. or equivalent, a bachelor’s degree, and at least five years in a law firm or legal setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• J.D. or equivalent required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in a law firm or legal environment.

Responsibilities

• Scope, design, and deliver client-specific AI engagements and pilots.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI and legal tech to workflows.
• Advise on practical AI use, capabilities, and human oversight.
• Move client opportunities from discovery to delivery and support.
• Coordinate with AI, tech teams, and client services to align needs with capabilities.
• Ensure quality, confidentiality, and compliance of AI work.
• Identify recurring needs and share insights to inform reusable solutions.
• Collaborate with Business Development to prepare tech content for pitches.
• Protect highly sensitive, confidential information.
