Job summary

Latham & Watkins LLP is seeking an Innovation Attorney – Client Team Enablement to advance AI and legal technology solutions for sophisticated client workflows. The role reports to the Manager, AI & Innovation – Client Solutions, and collaborates with lawyers, technology teams, BD, and client services.

Located in New York, Washington D.C., or Los Angeles with a hybrid in-office option, this senior role supports identifying opportunities to apply AI in legal service delivery and to design

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• J.D. or equivalent required.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience within a law firm or legal environment.
• Established interest in and knowledge of legal technology and AI tools, including Generative AI.
• Some prior experience as a practicing attorney, preferably.

Responsibilities

• Scope, design, and deliver client-specific AI engagements.
• Collaborate with partners, client teams, and technology groups.
• Advise on the practical application of AI to legal work.
• Support opportunities from discovery to delivery and ongoing support.
• Ensure confidentiality and information security in client work.
• Share insights to inform reusable AI solutions.
