Latham & Watkins seeks an Innovation Attorney – Client Team Enablement in the AI & Legal Innovation group. This senior role supports client-specific AI and legal tech solutions, collaborating with partners and client teams to apply AI to legal workflows.

The position is based in the U.S. with hybrid in-office options in select cities and requires JD, 5+ years in a law firm, and knowledge of Generative AI tools.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of AI, Gen AI, and their legal applications.
• Understanding of complex legal workflows and law firm operations.
• Ability to support engagements from discovery through delivery.

Responsibilities

• Scope, design, and deliver client-specific AI engagements and pilots.
• Collaborate with lawyers, Technology Client Services, and teams to align client needs with solutions.
• Advise on practical AI use, capabilities, limitations, and human oversight.
• Support from discovery to testing, implementation, and ongoing support.
• Coordinate with AI Innovation and technology teams to connect capabilities to client work.
• Ensure delivery quality, confidentiality, and compliance with requirements.
• Share insights to inform reusable solutions and agenda.
• Prepare technology content for panels, pitches, and RFPs as needed.
