Job summary

Latham & Watkins LLP is seeking an Innovation Attorney within the AI & Legal Innovation team to help deliver client-specific AI and legal technology solutions. You will collaborate with partners, clients, and technology teams to apply AI to legal workflows and drive practical outcomes.

The role supports engagements from scoping through delivery, and is located in New York, Washington DC, or Los Angeles with a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience applying AI to legal workflows.
• Strong understanding of legal workflows and firm operations.
• Ability to support complex client engagements from discovery through delivery.

Responsibilities

• Support scoping, design, and delivery of client-specific AI engagements.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI and legal tech to workflows and service delivery.
• Advise on practical AI applications, capabilities, and required human oversight.
• Move client opportunities from discovery to implementation and ongoing support.
• Collaborate with AI, Innovation, and technology teams to meet client needs.
