Job summary

Latham & Watkins seeks an Innovation Attorney – Client Team Enablement in a hybrid arrangement, located in the United States (DC/NY/LA). This senior role partners with partners and clients to apply AI and legal technology to real workflows and service delivery.

You will design, pilot, and deliver client-specific AI solutions, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, compliant work and measurable client value.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of AI, generative AI, legal tech and their use in service delivery.
• Solid understanding of legal workflows and law firm operations.
• Ability to manage complex client engagements from discovery to delivery.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills for complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Scope, design, and deliver client-specific AI engagements, including workflow development, pilots, and workshops.
• Identify and assess opportunities to apply AI and legal tech to workflows and service delivery.
• Advise on practical AI use in legal work, covering capabilities, limits, proper use, and human oversight.
• Support moving opportunities from discovery through design, testing, implementation, and ongoing support.
• Coordinate with AI/Legal Innovation and tech teams to align client needs with approved tools.
• Ensure quality, confidentiality, security, and compliance for client work.
• Identify recurring needs and gaps; share insights to inform reusable solutions.
• Collaborate with BD to prepare technology content for panels, pitches, and RFPs.
• Protect and maintain sensitive, confidential, and proprietary information.
