Sun Chemical in Memphis provides dedicated technical ink support to customers across West Tennessee, Arkansas and Missouri. You will identify and address technical and continuous improvement needs, ensuring seamless delivery of products and services.

The role emphasizes process optimization, customer training on ink blending, and collaboration with product management for tailored solutions. Travel about 70% with overnight stays as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–10 years ink industry experience.
• Proficient in Kepner-Tregoe, Six Sigma and SunMatch methodologies.
• Experience with industry laboratory and press equipment.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of press operations and printing processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in customer-facing process improvement projects.
• Make product selection decisions with Product Management and conduct trials.
• Provide training on ink blending, inventory and related practices.
• Submit and follow up regional color match lab requests and reports.
• Document field activity via Salesforce and trial reports.
• Provide emergency backfill support for blending.
